Hello everyone,

I have a new Selden mast – Selden Boom and Selden Rodkicker. Bastien Tomasino made the offer, took measurements, and requested many details. He provided a schedule and ensured the mast was installed on the agreed date.
For me, it was a pleasure working with him – he gave me lots of advice, and I was able to learn a lot about using the new rig!
In the meantime, I have sailed to Spain (currently in Gijon) – which means I have tested everything: I am really happy with the system!

Restoring a 30-year-old boat is not a project to be taken lightly, especially when it involves a carbon fiber prototype. Bastien was recommended to me by a friend, and from our very first exchanges, I immediately felt confident. Thank you very much for carrying out the work. Knowing someone like you who does such excellent
professional work is almost a reason to keep the boat in Royan!
The paint job turned out fantastic. I hadn’t dared to hope that the color tones and the transition to the existing
painted surfaces would work out so well.
I’m also very grateful for the clean and tidy reinstallation of the cockpit drains, which had previously been a real
concern for me. The limited space there makes the job truly difficult — it really takes an artist’s skill.

Bastien Tomasino’s company, to whom I entrusted a large part of my boat’s refit, provided valuable guidance in my choices regarding rigging and sails. He replaced the standing rigging and added a furling staysail with a deck-mounted stainless-steel chainplate, which is, in my opinion, indestructible while remaining highly aesthetic.
I also entrusted him with the fabrication of an epoxy-coated aluminum gantry, which attracts a lot of admiration in my sailing area.
He also took care of my onboard electronics and brought all the instruments up to date.
In short, Bastien is a true Swiss army knife of the boating world. Do not hesitate to call on his services.
My Bavaria 46 Cruiser has radically changed in both appearance and performance.

I entrusted Bastien Tomasino with the complete preparation of my sailboat, a 1985 First 325 PTE that required extensive work.
Bastien took the time to fully understand my solo sailing needs and adapted all modifications accordingly.
He completely replaced the standing rigging, installed a removable inner forestay for my staysail, and found clever solutions to install a bowsprit for my gennaker.
We also redesigned the entire deck layout so that I could handle all maneuvers without leaving the cockpit, which makes a huge difference for solo sailing.
Regarding the hull, he repainted it and added custom graphics to give my boat a true identity.
He also installed a watermaker, perfectly integrated onboard.
Bastien demonstrates great professionalism, genuine technical creativity, and always finds solutions—sometimes even fabricating stainless steel or carbon parts himself.
I recommend him without hesitation to any owner looking for a meticulous, inventive and attentive boat preparer.

I own a 1981 Sun Fizz with its original mast. I decided to replace the standing rigging and the mast. Bastien came on site to take measurements and discuss my sailing program and sailing style.
The boat is set up for cruising and is therefore relatively heavy in light winds. As an official Selden distributor, Bastien conducted a study to increase the mast size. Due to the reduced weight of the new mast, calculations allowed it to be extended by one meter, increasing the mainsail area.
Everything was perfectly organized by Bastien: arrival in Royan on the evening of January 2nd with the original mast… and departure on the 5th with the new mast installed and fully tuned!
In conclusion, a perfectly mastered job carried out by a true professional. The boat now feels extremely reassuring and has completely changed its behavior. I can once again head offshore with complete confidence.
